Q: Where can I purchase your collection?
A: Ambella Home and Best Designs Collections are available for purchase through our showrooms and through a variety of specialty retail dealers across the United States. Q: What is Fossil Stone?
A: In addition to Granite and Marble we also use Fossil Stone on the tops of some of our pieces. Fossil stone is a natural stone quarried out of the mountains of the Philippines. The stone is sliced into small pieces measuring 1" x 2" and are veneered onto a piece of marine plywood with a special epoxy. The stone is then highly polished to bring out its natural shine.
Q: How do you clean Fossil Stone?
A: It should be cleaned with a very mild soap. No hardening agents should be used. If over time your top has dulled from cleaning and use, it can be hand polished with Johnson's Shine Up� to bring back the luster. Fossil stone is porous. A stone sealer can be used for added protection but is not necessary.
Q: Can fireplace mantels be custom sized?
A: All fireplaces are available only in the sizes shown. Inside dimensions are available upon request.
Q: Do I need to hardwire or have a special plug or breaker to use the Electric Fireplace Mantles?
A: No. All of our Electric Fireplace Mantels plug into any standard 110v plug. If you can plug your hair dryer into it, you can plug our fireplace into it.
Q: What is included with the sink chest?
A: The sink chest includes the cabinet, the stone top, backsplash and sink bowl.
Q: Do I have to use one of your faucets or can I use a faucets of my own?
A: The Ambella Home collection faucets are sold separately from the sink chest. You can either purchase a faucet from our collection or supply your own. Each top comes predrilled with the size and spread to fit any standard 3-piece faucet set.
Q: Do the sink chests need to be professionally installed?
A: No. However we highly recommend it for not only the chest but also the basin and fixtures.
Q: Is it possible to change the fabrics, finishes or tops on Ambella Home Collection or Best Designs pieces?
A: Yes, on upholstery items. Ambella has a custom fabric program. Please contact sales for more details
Q: Is all lighting UL approved?
A: Yes. An electrician is required only when hard-wiring an item.
