Based on the classic Louis XVI chairs of the French late 1700's, these dining chairs feature all the details one would expect of silhouettes of this period, while keeping the carvings clean and updated. Made of Beech, fluted legs raise a carved seat and back rail with scrolling arms. Our version of this chair can be ordered with a plain upholstered back, or one of four back inserts may be selected to customize the piece ever further. Choose from a quatrefoil tracery back, a circle inside a square regency back, a stylized diamond back or a classic Chippendale fretwork back.
